I am the site director of NSF-NNIN at Washington University
in St. Louis. NRF is keen to
develop unique technical expertise and provide excellent service to the nanotech
community with a focus on responsible development of nanotechnology. My academic
record includes a BS from Fudan University,
a Ph.D.
degree in Physical Chemistry with Professor Hai-Lung Dai from the University of Pennsylvania, a postdoctoral stint with Professor George M. Whitesides at
Harvard University, and an MBA degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. In spare time,

As the Principal Scientist and Lab Manager, I am
responsible for the development of technical core competency and the sustainability
of operation. My academic records include
a B.S. in Chemical Physics (Special
Class for Gifted Young) and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University
of Science and Technology of China (USTC), a postdoctoral training with Professor
Younan Xia at the University of Washington, and a research associate appointment
with Professor John Rogers at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

As a Research Coordinator, my primary goal is to train TEM and SEM users to be self-sufficient in their endeavors, while also providing expertise and technical support. I also serve as the NRF Education Manager and oversee community outreach activities with the Saint Louis Science Center and local schools, as well as the NNIN Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at WUSTL. I have a MS in Biomedical Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a BS in Molecular Biology from William Jewell College, and enjoy reading in my spare time.

As an NRF Research Engineer, my technical responsibilities include lithographic and
fabrication processes and scanning probe microscopy. Other responsibilities include
overseeing the cleanroom operation and safety management. I have a B.S. in Electronics
Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology at Kansas City, a B.S.
in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and
a M.S. in Interdisciplinary Engineering from Purdue University. I have several years
of industrial experience as an Applications Engineer with ASML in computational
and photolithography. |
